Background
The Corning Tuesday Night Market is a collaboration and merging of two former events aimed at enhancing the success of all participants. The Corning Chamber of Commerce has re-launched the Corning Certified Thursday Farmers' Market to provide a venue for fresh, local food in the 'Olive City'.
Practices
Vendors are required to have all applicable permits and licenses for their products, including CA State business licenses, food permits, Certified Producer's Certificates, Egg Handler's Certificates, Meat letters, and Nursery Licenses.
Of note
Participation in the market is free, with no booth fees, and the city has waived the business license requirement. The market encourages both vendors and customers to join in for a vibrant community experience.
