Windy Creek Vineyards

The orchard features peach and plum trees planted low to the ground for easy picking, especially for children. The fruit ripens from early June to late July, with varieties such as Hale Haven peaches, Methley plums, Santa Rosa plums, Harvester peaches, Loring peaches, and Belle of Georgia white peaches.

Primarily organic growing practices are used for the plums and peaches, though the orchard is not certified organic. Visitors should expect occasional bird peckings on the fruit.

The orchard also offers grapes and encourages visitors to pick their own fruit, pay by the pound, and enjoy the experience.
