About
Background
The farm began raising chickens in 2010 in response to health concerns related to commercially produced eggs. Over the years, it has become known for its diverse breeds of chickens, which produce a variety of egg colors.
Practices
Chickens are free-range, enjoying fenced-in pastures with access to sunshine, green grass, bugs, and fresh air. They are fed a mix of premium feed, supplemented with organic treats when possible. Natural pest control methods are employed to maintain a healthy environment.
Of note
The farm offers chicken eggs at $3.50 per dozen and duck eggs at $1 each.
