Sweet Leaf Organic Farm
About
Dave Sullivan began growing vegetables in the mid-90s to supply his festival food booth, Sweet Leaf Café. Over time, the farm expanded, serving regional restaurants, farmers markets, and health food stores. In 2000, Dave partnered with Teodulo Jimenez, transforming the farm into a year-round food source. The OG Corner Market opened in 2008, offering local organic produce and other farm products. Chelsea Clancy later joined, further strengthening the farm's operations.
The farm uses 100% organic practices, avoiding synthetic fertilizers and harmful chemicals. Soil health is maintained through composting, organic amendments, cover cropping, and crop rotation. The farm grows heritage and heirloom seed varieties and avoids GMO seeds.
The farm produces a wide range of vegetables including turnips, herbs, kale, strawberries, carrots, winter squash, potatoes, leeks, lettuce, zucchini, salad greens, tomatoes, arugula, basil, corn, sweet onions, sweet Spanish onions, Genovese basil, asparagus, and spring onions. The OG Corner Market offers local organic produce and other high-quality farm products such as meat, dairy, honey, and dried goods.
