About the Farm
Background
Located in Scappoose, Oregon, this first generation family farm is known for providing USDA Certified Grass Fed/Finished beef, being one of only two farms in the state with this certification.
Practices
The farm raises cattle on pasture year-round without feeding them any grains, antibiotics, GMOs, or using any type of hormones. During winter, they supplement with grass and clover haylage and grass hay grown and harvested on the farm. The cattle are primarily Black Angus, with some Angus/Hereford or Charolais crosses.
The Rest
Beef is available in whole, half, and quarter shares, vacuum packed and cut to customer specifications. The farm also offers 25-lb and 50-lb ground beef boxes, made a few times a year from de-boned whole beef including premium cuts, resulting in high-quality, lean ground beef. Orders can be picked up on the farm, and most major credit cards are accepted.
