Background
Located in New Ipswich, NH, Sleepy Brook Farm is owned and operated by Renee and Wendy Juchnevics-Freeman. The farm is committed to providing quality meat for the local community.
Practices
Pigs are naturally raised in a wooded setting, allowing them to forage and root. Chickens and turkeys free-range during the day and are protected from predators at night in custom-designed hoop houses. All animals are fed non-GMO grain that is hand-mixed on the farm, and no hormones or antibiotics are used.
Of note
The farm offers pork and chicken for purchase year-round, with seasonal availability of pork sides, Thanksgiving turkeys, and fresh whole chickens. They also run a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program.
