Background
Located just north of Sioux City, Iowa, the farm has become known for its herd of full-blooded, registered Belted Galloways.
Practices
Inputs include fresh pasture, clean water, sunshine, and stored hay during the winter months. The herd's long winter coat eliminates the need for fat, resulting in extremely lean meat. The animals receive no shots or supplements, other than free choice natural minerals.
