About
Background
The farm has been in the family since 1936, located in Albion, Michigan. Over the decades, it has evolved to include a variety of produce and livestock, maintaining its family-owned and operated roots.
Practices
The farm starts all seeds in a greenhouse before transplanting them into the field, utilizing a hoophouse to extend growing seasons. They grow on plastic and abstain from using insecticides. The farm is MAEAP verified and is working toward GAP verification.
Of note
A roadside market opens in May, offering in-season produce and accepting Project Fresh and EBT cards. The farm also participates in the Albion Farmers Market.
