Naylor's Organic Family Farm Stay
About
Mike, a third-generation farmer, and Nori, who grew up on small family farms, took over the Naylor farm in 1979 and transitioned to organic practices in 1984. They opened their farm stay in 2010 to provide visitors with the rare experience of living on a working farm.
The farm grows over 30 varieties of stone fruit, including apricots, nectarines, peaches, and plums, as well as a few blackberries. Organic farming practices have been in place since 1984, emphasizing the health of the soil and the quality of the produce. Guests are expected to follow food safety rules and guidelines during their stay.
The farm offers a variety of accommodations, including rooms with private entrances and baths, a self-contained space for small groups, and a romantic garden room with a view of the orchards and Sierra Nevada Mountains. Complimentary organic fruit is provided in season, and farm tours are available. The U-pick operation runs from late May through September. The farm stay will cease operations in September 2024.
