Muth Farm Flowers
About
Established in 2008, Mary Ellen and Margaret grew up on a family farm, cultivating garden and cut flowers for decades. They are proud members of the Association of Specialty Cut Flower Growers.
The farm employs organic and sustainable methods without chemical fertilizers or pesticides. They add well-composted leaves yearly and use cover cropping to improve soil tilth and fertility. Drip irrigation conserves water, and they grow flowers and herbs that encourage beneficial insects and provide nectar for pollinators. Flowers are picked at their peak, carefully conditioned, and minimally handled to ensure optimal quality.
The farm offers a wide variety of classic and novel flowers, avoiding dyed colors or glitter. They emphasize long vase life, with many flowers lasting 5 to 7 days, and some up to 2 weeks. Their local market base allows them to grow blooms not typically seen in stores or florist shops. They also provide custom bouquets, floral arrangements, and a subscription service.
