About

Background

Started in the late 1930's, this small family farm has been dedicated to providing local raw honey and, occasionally, homegrown vegetables.

Practices

The farm cultivates various types of clover and buckwheat to support honey bee populations. Cover crops are grown on all gardens during the winter and on unused garden areas in the summer, which helps reduce the need for synthetic fertilizers, prevents erosion, and enhances soil quality.

Of note

Local raw honey is typically available starting in July each year, with supply varying based on nectar sources and weather conditions. Customers can join a contact list by emailing their name, phone number, and quantity requested. Updates are posted on the farm's Facebook page.
