About

Facts
Founded 2014
Background

Founded by Seth and Adrienne Steward in Trumbull County, Ohio, the apiary began in 2014 after Seth studied apiculture for many years. The farm is named in honor of Seth's mother, Linda, and aims to continue her legacy of compassion and charity. Seth, a second-generation beekeeper, has expanded the operation to include multiple counties and a variety of bee-related services and products.

Practices

The apiary focuses on the preservation, protection, and promotion of honey bees within the ecosystem. Seth's approach to beekeeping is deeply rooted in a desire to understand and connect with nature, inspired by his personal experiences and academic background. The farm produces raw honey and other bee products while offering services like swarm removal and pollination.

Of note

The farm also runs an online store called The Beepothekere Shop, offering a range of honey products, skin care items, and gifts. Additionally, they provide educational tours, classes, and mentoring for aspiring beekeepers. Seth serves as an advisor to the Bee Master 4-H Club of Trumbull County and has attended numerous beekeeping workshops and training sessions.
