In Theory Farm
About
The 10-acre farm, with a house built in 1890, was purchased in 2010 by Lindsey Cobb and Rachel Lilly. The property was initially overgrown and full of debris, requiring significant restoration to become usable for livestock. The farm's name, 'In Theory Farm,' originated from the couple's frequent reassurances during the challenging restoration process.
The farm raises Jersey cows, Oberhasli goats, and traditional breeds of laying hens outdoors on pasture, adhering to the highest welfare standards. Both owners' veterinary backgrounds emphasize cleanliness and preventive care to maintain animal health. The farm is AWA-certified, ensuring animals are raised outdoors with stringent requirements for shelter size, cleanliness, feed, and management.
In Theory Farm offers AWA goat’s milk, cow’s milk, pasture-raised eggs, and show-quality goat breeding stock for sale. For more information, contact Rachel and Lindsey via phone, email, or visit their website and Facebook page.
