Hummingbird Berry Farm

The farm has focused on cultivating blackberries with the intent of becoming known for providing the best product available. In 2019, a historical log cabin was reconstructed on the property, adding to the farm's charm and appeal.

The farm grows five varieties of thornless blackberry plants trellised on 2.5 acres. The plants are arranged in mowed rows, making it easy for visitors to pick their own berries. The farm emphasizes providing a fun and educational experience for visitors, with opportunities to learn about blackberry cultivation and enjoy the natural surroundings.

Visitors can enjoy farm tours, group events, and educational experiences. The farm features locations to watch hummingbirds, photo opportunities at 'berry town', and a spot to observe Highland Cattle by the old barn and pond. The blackberry season typically starts in mid-June and continues through the summer into early fall. Updates are posted on the farm's website and social media pages. Fresh and frozen blackberries are available for commercial accounts, and customized orders can be arranged for those unable to visit the farm.
