Humble Rooster Farm, LLC

The family farm began in 2014 with a garden, some chicks, and ducklings. They enjoyed watching the chicks grow and transitioned them to a mobile coop. In 2015, they got their first batch of meat chickens and learned how to take care of and process them. They moved to Bertram, TX, bringing the flock with them and experimented with other breeds. In 2016, they got their first official flock for the business, named the farm Humble Rooster, and started selling eggs on the side of the road and at farmers markets. By 2017, they joined several farmers markets and started a CSA, selling to a few restaurants.

The farm raises poultry outside on pasture in the sunshine, using sustainable farming methods. The birds are pasture-raised, soy-free, corn-free, hormone-free, antibiotic-free, chemical-free, and non-GMO. They are supplemented with freshly milled H and H Feed from Texas.

Customers can order products online or find them at various farmers markets. The farm is located 40 minutes northwest of Austin, Texas, and is family owned and operated.
