About

Background

In late fall of 2010, 13 acres of land were purchased between Waxahachie and Midlothian, Texas. By the following spring, the farm was established with a modest start, including a 75 ft x 150 ft garden and a peach orchard. Initial challenges included free-range chickens damaging ripe tomatoes and goats eating the first batch of peach trees. Over time, the farm expanded to include 75 peach trees and a variety of other crops.

Practices

The farm employs natural growing practices, avoiding the use of hormones in their organic turkey production. The interconnectedness of their farming methods is evident in their approach to managing livestock and crops, ensuring a balanced and healthy ecosystem.

Of note

Visitors are encouraged to visit the farm, stay updated on its activities, and bring friends along for the experience. The farm offers a range of products including potatoes, tomatoes, melons, peaches, eggs, squash, and poultry.
