Green Gate Farm

Located in Shepherdstown, WV, Green Gate Farm has been a cornerstone of the local agricultural community, offering a variety of products through multiple channels including CSA memberships, farmers' markets, on-farm sales, and restaurant partnerships.

Growing produce on 1-2 acres and raising livestock on approximately 10-12 acres, the farm employs a blend of traditional farming practices and contemporary organic methods. All produce is cultivated using draft horse power, and the farm specializes in heirloom produce and heritage breed livestock.

The farm offers CSA memberships with options for full shares and small shares, providing a weekly assortment of vegetables. Local pick-up options are available at the farm, Charles Town Farmers Market, and Shepherdstown, with delivery services to Bethesda, MD and Washington, DC for an additional fee. Members receive a weekly newsletter with farm updates, share contents, available added value products, and recipes.
