Good News Farm
About
Good News Farm operates as a non-profit organization focused on education and local agriculture. High school students participate in the farm's activities, earning their tuition, Master Gardener certification, and soon, college credit. The farm has established a reputation for providing fresh, local produce to various cities including Grand Rapids, Holland, Lansing, Kalamazoo, Battle Creek, and southeast Michigan.
The farm adheres to certified organic and Veganic growing methods, ensuring that all produce is cultivated without the use of animal products or synthetic chemicals. This approach emphasizes soil health and plant-based inputs, fostering a sustainable and ethical farming environment.
Produce is harvested and packed on the same day to guarantee maximum freshness. Deliveries are made once a week, and customers can participate in a 'NO COMMITMENT CSA' model, allowing them to pay as they go without any contracts or upfront seasonal payments.
