About

Background

Located near Rock Hill, South Carolina, Ferebee Farm has built a reputation for producing quality products while emphasizing sustainability, animal welfare, and conservation. Inspired by the methods of Joel Salatin of Polyface Farms, the farm has adopted practices that go beyond organic standards.

Practices

Ferebee Farm follows ecologically sound practices, raising poultry, pork, and eggs on pasture, and producing 100% grass-fed 'salad bar' lamb. The farm grows pesticide and herbicide-free produce during the summer and offers handmade soap and wool yarn year-round. All livestock and laying hens are heritage breeds, including a flock of critically endangered Gulf Coast Native sheep. Animals are raised naturally without antibiotics, steroids, artificial hormones, or any other drugs.

Of note

In addition to their main products, Ferebee Farm offers handmade soap and wool yarn throughout the year.
