EvansKnob Farm
About
Evans Knob Farm has been practicing organic growing methods for several years and became certified organic in the summer of 2003. In 2010, they allowed USDA organic certification to lapse and transitioned to Certified Naturally Grown. They are known for their diverse offerings, including vegetables, grass-fed lamb and beef, pastured poultry, free-range eggs, and pork.
The farm employs organic growing methods and adheres to the standards of Certified Naturally Grown. They focus on rotational grazing for their grass-fed livestock and pastured poultry, ensuring the health of the soil and the animals. The Romney sheep provide wool for handcrafted items, and Great Pyrenees guardian dogs protect the livestock and gardens from predators.
Evans Knob Farm offers farm tours by appointment and engages interns from local colleges. They also produce old-fashioned goat's milk soap using milk from their mixed goat dairy.
