About the Farm

Background

Dingdong's Garden was established after the family moved to the San Juan Islands four years ago. The farm is named after Dingdong, a name given to the owner's wife by her father. The family, including their daughter Sophie, has embraced the lifestyle of growing, cooking, and preserving their own food, sharing their abundance with family, friends, and neighbors.

Practices

The farm focuses on providing affordable plant and tree cuttings and scionwood for plant propagation. They offer dormant cuttings and scionwood in the winter and live, green cuttings in the summer. The farm emphasizes affordability and works to lower costs for their customers.

The Rest

The farm also sells artwork celebrating the history of agriculture and native flora in the United States. Their products can be found online and at the Farmer's Market on Lopez Island. They provide educational resources through their Propagation Journal and YouTube Channel to help new plant propagation hobbyists.
