CM Farms LLC

Chuck and Jackie Melsheimer, the owners, began their journey in 1997 when they moved onto 100 acres of land purchased by Chuck. Over the years, they expanded their farm, starting with watermelons in 2000 and later adding a corn maze in 2009. The farm has grown to encompass 720 acres, including cattle and sheep operations, and has become a beloved destination for seasonal events and family activities.

The farm combines traditional cattle farming with the cultivation of watermelons and cantaloupes. They run a large crossbred cow/calf operation along with a few registered Brahmans and majestic Longhorns. The Melsheimers emphasize hands-on education about animals and farming practices through their various attractions and field trips.

CM Farms offers a wide range of activities including a giant corn maze, wagon rides, pig races, and a haunted trail in October. The Country Market is open year-round, selling seasonal fruits and vegetables, jellies, preserves, and various feeds. The farm also hosts seasonal events such as the Fall Festival, Springtime Events, and Christmas celebrations, making it a year-round destination for fun and learning.
