About
Background
Located in Northern California, this small family farm also serves as a care home for developmentally disabled adults. They are known for their commitment to providing work experience opportunities for their residents and supporting the El Dorado County Special Olympics with a percentage of their proceeds.
Practices
The farm adheres to practices approved for organic production, though they are not yet USDA certified. Their chickens, cows, and goats live their entire lives on green pastures, enjoying ample sunshine and fresh air. The farm is organically minded and avoids GMOs whenever possible.
Of note
The farm offers organic produce and flowers through a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) farm box program.
