Boxcarr Farms

Located in the heart of Cedar Grove, North Carolina, this family-owned farm began its journey in 2009 when they purchased 30 beautiful acres. The farm is run by chefs, artists, and artisans who are passionate about their animals and the environment. Over the years, they have expanded their operations to include a food truck catering business, allowing them to bring their produce, animals, and products directly to consumers.

The farm raises heritage breed pigs and chickens on pasture, ensuring that the animals have ample space to roam and forage. They also milk Alpine and Nubian goats to produce cheese for their catering business. The emphasis is on maintaining a harmonious relationship with the land and animals.

The farm participates in the Piedmont Farm Tours, offering visitors a chance to see their operations up close. This connection to the community and transparency in their practices is a treat for both the farmers and their visitors.
