Badger's Millside Farm

Established in 2015, Badger's Millside Farm began raising Gloucester Old Spot pigs to meet the demand for bulk pork orders. The farm also started producing heritage turkeys, specifically the critically endangered Beltsville Small White, and expanded to offer hatching eggs and day-old poults.

The farm emphasizes pasture-raising methods, allowing chickens, pigs, and turkeys to roam freely on the land. This approach not only ensures the animals' well-being but also enhances the quality of the meat. By raising their own breeding stock and focusing on heritage breeds, the farm contributes to the preservation of rare species while maintaining a sustainable farming ecosystem.

Customers can purchase products directly from the farm or opt for delivery to designated drop-off points in Watsontown and Williamsport. The Chicken Club subscription service offers monthly shares of chicken, customized to customer specifications and delivered frozen. Additionally, the farm's equipment store has moved to 'The Bird Nerd'.
