About

Background

Located on the extra acreage of Heart's Desire Midwifery Care in Peaster, the farm was established in September last year. It began with pastured chickens for egg production, which quickly gained popularity among clients. The farm then expanded to include a garden following organic practices, and later, pastured meat chickens. The farm's produce and meats are primarily offered to midwifery clients and the local community.

Practices

The farm emphasizes the importance of clean, organic produce and pasture-raised meats. Although not certified organic, the garden is managed using organic practices. Chickens are raised on pasture, providing high-quality eggs and meat. The farm is committed to sustainable and health-focused farming methods.

Of note

The farm plans to start an orchard in the Fall, which will take a few years to produce fruit. They maintain an active presence on Facebook to keep the community updated and engaged.
