Abbott Family Farm
About
The journey began with a small garden on a 1/2 acre property, which expanded to include chickens, ducks, a turkey, and goats. As the garden grew, the family experimented with various gardening methods. Realizing the need for more space, they moved to a 14-acre farm in the Willamette Valley.
The farm employs diverse methods such as food forests, hugelkultur, permaculture, traditional raised beds, cover crops, and composting. They focus on creating a natural environment for plants and animals, using sustainable farming methods to produce highly nutritious foods.
Currently available products include free range chicken eggs, pasture raised corn and soy free chicken meat, and pasture raised corn and soy free rabbit meat. The farm is continually expanding its offerings.
