About

Background

Founded by Mike and Tisha, the farm was born out of a desire to improve the quality of food. They started with a quarter-acre farm that could produce as much food as eighty acres of traditional farmland. Over time, they expanded their operations while maintaining their commitment to producing an abundance of crop varieties year-round, completely indoors, and without pesticides or excessive food miles.

Practices

The farm creates a 'Plant Paradise' by providing plants with the exact temperature, humidity, and light needed for optimal growth. They use heirloom and uncoated seeds, free of GMOs, and grow in a clean environment devoid of pesticides, run-off, and residues. The farm operates with 100% renewable electricity and uses 95% less water than traditional farms, producing up to 300 times more food per square foot. Their technology platform allows for complete traceability from seed to store, ensuring transparency in their growing and distribution processes.

Of note

The farm specializes in growing Microgreens, Culinary Herbs, Artisan Lettuces, Leafy Greens, Heirloom Tomatoes, and Baby Cucumbers. By eliminating food miles, their produce stays fresher longer, providing more value to customers. They are committed to sustainability and transparency, setting a new standard for food production.
