About

Background

A lifelong dream fueled the creation of this farm in the Wallowa Valley in Northeastern Oregon. The journey, marked by dedication and passion for raising and training animals, culminated in a farm that combines cattle management with wildlife stewardship. Certified organic since 2010, the farm decided to stop certification with Oregon Tilth in 2023 but continues to uphold the same high standards.

Practices

The farm employs rotational grazing practices and protective fencing to steward riparian areas and upland grasses. Cattle graze on native grasses, sedges, rushes, and plants their entire lives, with supplemental winter feeding from stored pastures. No synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, antibiotics, added hormones, GMOs, anabolic steroids, or sub-therapeutic feed antibiotics are used. The farm's cattle management promotes nutrient-dense forage for wildlife, enhancing the ecosystem's health and supporting microbial life in the soil.

Of note

All meat is USDA inspected, humanely harvested, dry-aged, artisan butchered, flash frozen, and cryo-vacuum packaged. Beef is available for purchase online in various forms, including ground beef, premium steaks, quarters, halves, and whole beef options. The farm's practices ensure high levels of Omega-3 fatty acids and CLAs in the beef, contributing to its exceptional taste and nutritional value.
