About the Event

Grab your friends and family and join us at Weir River Farm for our Spring Festival! Visit with our farm animals, climb aboard a tractor, and make a farm craft! Participate in the implementation of a beautiful art installation designed by Aaron Asis and Illegal Art. Don’t forget to play some fun festival games, get a farm tattoo, and enjoy live music!

Be sure to grab some food from Mom on the Go food truck, Just the Dip, and Tambo’s Kitchen. Enjoy ice cream from Ellie’s Treats ice cream truck, and sip local beer from Stellwagen Beer and Vitamin Sea Brewing. As you’re enjoying tasty refreshments, listen to live music by Ash & Eric and The Lied To’s!

In celebration of spring renewal and stewarding the earth, we will host eco-friendly vendors and local eco-partners. Stop by their tables to shop sustainable and eco-friendly products and learn about their good work preserving our beautiful planet.

Sensory-Friendly Spring Festival Hour

From 10-11AM we will be running a Sensory Friendly Spring Festival Hour. This hour will offer decreased participant capacity, reduced noise, and other accommodations for individuals living with autism and/or sensory challenges and their families. For more information or to register for the Sensory Friendly Spring Festival Hour, visit https://thetrustees.org/event/416726/

About the Field of Dreams art installation:

Consisting of a series of sculpted paths, the public will be invited to record personal messages onto a piece of botanical seed paper in response to the following prompt: Share a message of hope with the land to inspire a better future.

Each message will then be buried into the earth by a wooden stake topped with a ribbon that waves in the wind in unison with those of other participants. Participants will then be invited to reflect on their words as a means of inspiring a sense of connectedness to the hopes and dreams of others — as well as to the land that nourishes us all.

Thank you to the Plymouth Cultural Council, Duxbury Cultural Council, and Kingston Cultural Council and Mass Cultural Council for their partial funding of this installation.

Music Line-up:

11AM-2PM – Ash & Eric
2-5PM – The Lied To’s
