Shreveport Farmers' Market

For the 34th consecutive year, the Shreveport Farmers Market has been a cornerstone of the community, providing a space for local farmers and artisans to sell their goods. Organized by Red River Revel, Inc., the market has become a beloved weekly event, drawing families and food enthusiasts alike.

The market emphasizes local agriculture, featuring vegetables, fruits, herbs, plants, honey, and meats that are grown or raised within a 150-mile radius of Shreveport. Ranchers at the market are committed to ethical practices, offering beef, pork, chicken, and lamb that are raised with care.

The market operates every Saturday from May 30th through October 10th, excluding Labor Day weekend, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Visitors can enjoy free parking, access to an onsite ATM, and the ability to use SNAP benefits with participating vendors. The market also offers a range of artisanal products including breads, jams, jellies, pickles, canned goods, soaps, dog treats, seasonings, sauces, chocolates, cookies, cakes, candies, and pralines.
