Newton SUMMER Farmers' Market

On June 5th, the Foodshed Alliance will host the grand opening of the Newton Summer Farmers Market along Spring Street in Newton. This market aims to bring consumers and farmers together, providing an outlet for local food year-round, every day of the week. The market is established to complement existing weekend markets, offering another opportunity for the community to obtain local, fresh food in one place.

The market emphasizes the importance of shopping and eating locally to build a resilient community. All foods are grown, produced, and/or raised within a 25-mile radius, ensuring that the products are truly local.

The market will run every Tuesday from 11am-2pm through October and feature a variety of local farmers, artisans, speakers, cooking demos, musicians, and children's activities. The Foodshed Alliance, in partnership with the Spring Street Business Group, encourages the community to patronize local stores and businesses, fostering a strong sense of community.
