Heathsville Farmers Market

Located on the grounds of Historic Rice's Hotel / Hughlett's Tavern, which dates back to the late 1700s, the Heathsville Farmers' Market operates from April through October on the third Saturday of each month.

The market emphasizes local agriculture and craftsmanship, offering a variety of fresh produce, plants, nursery items, and locally-made handcrafts. The presence of artisan guilds such as Blacksmiths, Woodworkers, Spinners & Weavers, and Quilters highlights a commitment to traditional skills and community engagement.

In addition to shopping, visitors can explore the Heritage Arts Center Gift Shop inside the Tavern, which features working artist studios and a gallery. The Artisan Cafe' serves homemade soup and fresh-baked bread, while an outside food concession offers quick bites.
