Coastside Farmers Markets in Half Moon Bay & Pacifica

In 2012, the Coastside Farmers' Markets celebrated their 10th year of bringing the best of the closest-to-the-market produce from this agriculturally rich community. Since the inception of the Saturday Market in 2003, the Coastside Farmers Markets have focused on offering high-quality, locally sourced products. Over half the growers come from within the county, and any fish sold is caught by boats registered in the Half Moon Bay harbor.

The market emphasizes sourcing from local, small-scale farms and producers, many of whom practice biodynamic farming. The focus is on heritage breed meats, farmstead cheeses, and Ark of Taste products, all grown, harvested, and created within the Bay Area foodshed.

The market has been recognized as a runner-up in the 2012 Bay Area A-list and named one of Sunset Magazine's Best Farmers' Markets. Notable vendors include Harley Farms Cheese, Farm Fatales, Giusti Farms Artichokes, Green Oaks Creek, Daylight Farms, Farmer John's Pumpkins, Coastside Flower Farms, Fly Girl, Greenhearts Family Farms, Markegard Grass Fed, Early Bird, and Del Sur.
