Blue Hill Farmers' Market

The Blue Hill Farmers' Market brings together a diverse group of farmers, artists, bakers, and other artisans, creating a vibrant community hub. Operating from Memorial weekend through early October, the market has become a staple in the area, providing a space for local producers to showcase their goods. During the annual fair in September, the market temporarily relocates to the Congregational Church parking lot in downtown Blue Hill.

The farmers at the market produce a variety of goods including vegetable starts, vegetables, cut flowers, blueberries, and other fall fruits, all grown locally on the Blue Hill Peninsula. This emphasis on local production ensures that the products are fresh and sustainably sourced.

Visitors can find a wide selection of items such as smoked meats, wooden bowls and spoons, soaps, goat cheese, photographs, and toys. Additionally, Mexican food to go is available, adding to the diverse offerings. The market operates on Saturdays from 9 to 11:30 am at the Blue Hill Fairgrounds on Rt 172.
