Barrington Farmers' Market

Established in May of 2000, the Barrington Farmers Market is held in the historic district of downtown Barrington near the train station. The market has become a staple in the community, offering a wide range of freshly grown and produced items each week.

The market features both organic and conventional farming practices, providing a diverse selection of vegetables, meat, and eggs. This blend of farming methods allows for a variety of products that cater to different customer preferences.

The market operates on Thursdays from 2-7pm and includes vendors selling flowers, fruit, honey, pastas, sauces, baked goods, breads, olive oil, tea, and soap. Ready-to-eat food vendors are also available, making it a convenient stop for dinner. The market is managed by the Barrington Village Association and supported by the Village itself. Additionally, the area hosts antique car shows and a Cruise Night, creating a lively family-friendly atmosphere.
