About the Farm

Background

For the past 15 years, the farm has dedicated itself to growing, cooking, and eating local, seasonal, and organic vegetables. Over the last decade, they have shared their knowledge with the community through organic vegetables, recipes, classes, newsletters, and blog posts. They have built long-standing relationships with hundreds of families and distributed over 20,000 boxes of CSA farm share vegetables.

Practices

The farm focuses on organic farming practices, ensuring that all vegetables are grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers. They emphasize the importance of seasonal eating and have developed a deep understanding of Maine’s growing seasons, helping customers incorporate a wide variety of vegetables into their diets without waste.

The Rest

The farm offers three CSA programs: Summer CSA (weekly for 16 weeks from July to October), Winter CSA (twice-monthly from November to March), and Spring CSA (twice-monthly from April to June). Pickup locations are available on the farm in Dover-Foxcroft or in downtown Bangor. Additionally, they provide recipes, classes, and a blog to help customers make the most of their vegetables. The farm also offers organic meats, veggie seedlings, perennials, and community food classes and events.
