Hartshorn Certified Organic Farm spans 40 acres and has been a 7th generation maple syrup producer. With over 30 years of experience, the farm is known for its high-quality, nutrient-dense produce and flowers. Located on Route 100 in Waitsfield, Vermont, it serves both locals and tourists, providing an authentic farm-to-table experience.

Practices

The farm is VOF certified organic, emphasizing sustainable agriculture and the connection between nature, health, and wellness. They offer CSA shares, pick-your-own berries, and innovative educational programs to inspire and educate visitors about organic farming practices.

The Rest

Visitors can purchase produce, flowers, syrup, jams, and other Vermont-made gifts at the farm stand, Waitsfield Farmer's Market, and Big Picture Theater Winter Market. The farm also offers unique food and farm tours, personal growth and wellness retreats, workshops, cow train rides, and flatbread pizza events. Their maple sugarhouse allows visitors to watch the syrup-making process, and they provide a variety of local products, including award-winning maple syrup, pickled veggies, homemade sauces, and baked goods. New freeze-dried food offerings are available this season.
