Windemar Farm

The farm is known for its diverse range of products including free range eggs, pastured chicken and turkey, vegetables, and baked goods. They have established a presence at the Jackson Square Oak Ridge farmers market and offer scheduled pickups at their commercial kitchen in Rockwood.

The farm employs regenerative agriculture practices, avoiding GMO crops, pesticides, and herbicides. They prioritize the use of heirloom seeds and save and replant their own seeds to develop locally-adapted varieties. Their livestock, including chickens and turkeys, are raised on pasture, contributing to soil health and biodiversity.

In spring 2024, the farm will launch a CSA program that includes meat, eggs, vegetables, produce, and sourdough bread. Customers can join a waiting list to be notified when subscriptions open. Products can be purchased at the farmers market or through scheduled pickups at their commercial kitchen.
