Wilson's Woods

In the spring of 2019, the Wilson family moved to mid-Michigan to create a space where their children could learn about nature and food. They began by making plans, drawing out the garden, and choosing fruit tree types, all while settling into their new home.

The farm focuses on raising animals, including chickens and ducks, and cultivating a variety of produce. They also maintain an orchard with fruit trees and produce wildflower honey from their bees. Additionally, they tap maple trees to make maple syrup.

The farm is continually evolving, with plans to add more animals, expand the garden, and increase their orchard. They emphasize teaching their children about farming and nature as they grow and develop their farm.
