About the Farm
Background
Established in 1996, this farm is a little patch of garden space at the base of a small Ozark hill near the banks of Dry Fork Creek. The farm includes woods, meadows, two wooden yurts for guests and short-term residents, and a log cabin where Marcie and Dane live.
Practices
The farm employs no-till gardening methods, which help maintain soil structure and health by avoiding the disruption of tilling. This practice supports a thriving ecosystem both above and below ground, fostering a harmonious relationship between the farm and its natural surroundings.
The Rest
Subscribers are encouraged to visit and stay in one of the yurts, swim in the swimming hole, help out in the garden, and join garden harvest dinners. Weekly shares include recipes and tips on storage, enhancing the farm-to-table experience.
