Background
A small family farm and apiary, known for its seasonal artisanal honey and presence at the Roan Mountain Tennessee Farmers Market.
Practices
Honey is never heated or filtered beyond screening out bits of wax from the extraction process. The farm also grows heirloom vegetables and maintains a small flock of hens for egg production.
The Rest
In addition to honey, the farm produces beeswax products such as lip balm and beeswax candles, and sells fresh heirloom vegetables and eggs at the local farmers market.
