Westwind Farm, LLC and Flour Mill

Westwind Farm, located between Swartz Creek and Durand, Michigan, began operating a CSA in 2017. The farm brought a historic stone grinding flour mill from Argentine, enabling them to offer a variety of flours made from certified organic Michigan-grown grains.

The farm employs organic farming practices, focusing on ecological and sustainable methods. They grow a variety of vegetables and raise chickens for eggs, ensuring that their farming methods are in harmony with the environment.

In addition to the CSA, the farm offers flour, vegetables, and eggs for individual purchase during specific farm pick-up hours. They also conduct wholesale sales of flour and baking mixes. The farm hosts ecological and sustainable living classes and events, covering topics such as gardening, food preservation, and bread baking, held in various locations depending on the season.
