About the Farm

Background

As the first winery in Grays Harbor County and the westernmost vineyard in Washington State, Westport Winery has carved a niche by embracing coastal themes in its wine offerings. Known for its unique varietals and dedication to local charities, the winery has become a celebrated destination, earning accolades such as the 2022 Washington Winery of the Year by Great Northwest Wine Magazine.

Practices

Westport Winery employs organic practices in the cultivation of its 4000 blueberries, 2000 raspberries, 2000 marionberries, 100 apples, 100 Asian pears, and 250 huckleberries. The winery has earned the Salmon-Safe certification, emphasizing its commitment to sustainable farming. The culinary herb garden not only supports their culinary classes but also enhances the aesthetic appeal of the winery's sculpture garden.

The Rest

Visitors can enjoy tastings and garden tours daily, with extended hours on weekends. The Farm to Fork restaurant offers lunch daily and dinner on weekends, focusing on fresh, local, and homemade dishes. The winery also features the Ocean's Daughter Distillery, the International Mermaid Museum, and the award-winning Sea Glass Grill. Lodging options include vacation rentals at the Westport Winery Garden Resort and other locations in Oregon and Arizona. Dogs are welcome on leash in the gardens, and service animals are allowed inside the winery, restaurant, and museum.
