Founded in 1996 by Louis B. Colameco III, the company began out of a concern for the over-processed meat products his children were consuming. Since then, it has grown to be a leader in the natural meat industry, known for its commitment to transparency and quality. Their products are available nationwide in stores such as Whole Foods Markets.

The company partners with local farmers who humanely raise animals in stress-free environments. All animals are vegetarian-fed and free from antibiotics, added growth hormones, nitrates, and nitrites. The meat is minimally processed, fully cooked, vacuum packaged, and properly refrigerated to ensure freshness and meet USDA standards.

The original headquarters was a restored 1800’s farmhouse in rural Southern New Jersey. The company continues to innovate while maintaining its legacy of quality. Their products include bacon, sausage, ham, deli meats, and hot dogs, all made with transparency and care.
