About the Farm
Background
Warner River Produce has evolved from being a USDA certified organic producer to maintaining high organic standards without the certification. Known for its diverse offerings, the farm operates year-round in Webster and Henniker, and seasonally at St Pauls School and Hopkinton. The farm has built a reputation for its wide range of products including vegetables, herbs, mushrooms, honey, and eggs.
Practices
Warner River Produce adheres to farming practices that meet or exceed USDA organic standards, despite no longer holding the certification. The farm emphasizes the importance of quality and sustainability in its production of seasonal mixed vegetables, culinary and medicinal herbs, ginger, turmeric, raw honey, Shiitake mushrooms, tree fruit, rhubarb, chicken and duck eggs, and berries. Their commitment to these practices ensures that their produce is grown with care for both the land and the consumer.
The Rest
Warner River Produce offers a 52-week Farmers Market style CSA/pay ahead option, bulk purchases in summer and fall, seed garlic, and educational workshops. They participate in various summer farmers markets including Canterbury, Contoocook, Franklin, Penacook, and St Paul's School in Concord, and operate a farm stand on Jewett Rd in Hopkinton. In winter, they can be found at the Concord Indoor Winter Farmers Market at Eagle Square, as well as markets in Contoocook, Canterbury, Danbury, and Penacook. Customers can also order plants, produce, and other products online and select a pickup location or delivery.
