Tri-Pointe Farm

Joe and Jennifer Althoff, along with their seven children, manage a 60-acre farm in Jefferson County. They have expanded their operations to include renting additional acreage for their cows. Over the years, they have become known for their all-natural farming practices and have established a reputation for quality products sold at various locations in the St. Louis area, including farmers markets.

The farm emphasizes natural and humane animal husbandry. Chickens are raised on pasture, weather permitting, and pigs are kept in open areas with straw bedding, avoiding confinement buildings. The pigs are certified with Nieman Ranch and are allowed to farrow in hoop buildings. Beef cattle are raised on a diet of pasture and grain, supplemented with hay when necessary. All animals are free from medications, antibiotics, and growth implants, though they do consume GMO grain. The farm also grows fresh produce such as tomatoes, cucumbers, beans, and zucchini.
