About the Farm
Background
Tierra Linda Natural Farm has been producing pork since 2008, supplying some of the best local restaurants, including Fireslice Pizzeria, which has been using their sausage since 2012. The farm recently expanded to a new market and year-round production facility in Amarillo, Texas, located in a heritage facility that was originally founded as a nursery in 1928 and operated as such almost continuously until January 1, 2013.
Practices
The farm focuses on raising Berkshire hogs, known for their high-quality meat, and has converted a quarter acre of covered space and 8000 square feet of greenhouse into a year-round food production facility.
The Rest
The new facility in Amarillo, Texas, will open its doors on March 23, 2013, at 9 AM.
