About the Farm
Background
The Tucker Hill Farm has established itself as a provider of grass-finished lamb and beef, as well as pastured eggs. Known for their commitment to quality, they offer lamb available as half or whole in May/June and produce eggs year-round.
Practices
The farm employs a pasture-based system with intensive rotation for managing animals. Lambs and cattle are fed fresh grass and hay only, avoiding corn, commercial feed, hormones, and antibiotics. The farm's beef and lamb have been tested at Utah State's Skagg’s Nutrition Lab, showing favorable Omega 6 to Omega 3 ratios. Chickens are fed a custom-mixed feed without commercial additives. Compost is applied yearly to the land, with no chemical use.
The Rest
The farm prefers to connect consumers with local producers but can ship beef and lamb. Eggs can be picked up at the farm or delivered locally. They direct market their products and offer custom processing. Visitors are welcome by appointment.
