About the Farm
Background
The journey began in a suburban town in Georgia called Tucker, where the family lived on 3/4 of an acre. Over time, they added chickens, Nigerian Dwarf goats, a little girl named Adelyn, rabbits, and countless foster animals. Driven by a passion for a more sustainable lifestyle, they moved to their dream farm in 2015, just before their second child was born. The farm now features a big house, land, a barn, and some fencing, marking the beginning of their farming adventure.
Practices
The farm emphasizes raising Nigerian Dwarf goats, known for their high-quality milk. The family is deeply committed to animal rescue and fostering, integrating these practices into their farming philosophy. They focus on sustainable living and teaching their children the values of growing their own food and raising livestock.
The Rest
The farm does not allow visitors due to privacy and biosecurity reasons. They actively share their farming journey and updates on their Facebook page, The Tucker Farm. The family also runs The Tucker Farm Soap Co, adding another dimension to their farm business.
